Sovereign Grace Ministries has long been a wonderful resource in my family's life through the books and music they put out. CJ Mahaney, leader of the ministry, has written some great books that have impacted my Christian walk, namely The Cross Centered Life. Carolyn Mahaney writes sensibly and practically with a touch of humor that makes her book an easy read. She takes you through the seven virtues of a godly woman found in Titus 2. Packed full of challenges and encouragement, I really gleaned a lot from this book.
Carolyln co-authored this book with her 3 daughters. I just LOVE how the four girls are SO transparent, humorous, and full of practical yet biblical wisdom. This was a very convicting read for me. If you're a mom feeling overwhelmed with the responsibilities of every day life, this book offers advice centered around Ephesians 5:16 - Redeem the time because the days are evil.
